Food Secure Canada’s eighth national assembly held November 13-16th in Halifax was the biggest ever, with over 450 people from across Canada gathering to share their experiences, challenges, and enthusiasm for a better future. Two members of the Thunder Bay and Area's Administrative Committee were in attendance to connect with other leaders in the field and to bring back ideas--from farmer training programs to procurement projects--to the Thunder Bay Area.
