The Thunder Bay and Area Food and Agriculture Market Study is a major priority project of the Food Strategy. This market study will provide a comprehensive picture of the local food economy in Thunder Bay and the surrounding area to learn more about the interest in and capabilities for procuring more locally grown and processed foods. This information will aid in the development of future strategies for local food businesses and other local food actors.
As the consultant for the market study, Harry Cummings and Associates are looking to involve local talent in the data collection process. There are three positions available and candidates may apply to any or all of them. Please find the detailed job description here.
This project was funded in part through Growing Forward 2 (GF2), a federal-provincial-territorial initiative. The Agricultural Adaptation Council assists in the delivery of GF2 in Ontario.
