The deadline to apply for the Local Food Coordinator position with Cloverbelt Local Food Co-op has been EXTENDED to April 7th! The Coordinator will help establish and grow new food distributions points, build and strengthen community partnerships, and aid in the development of a food charter for Kenora and Rainy River districts.

Are you interested in learning how to grow your own food? Attend the Small Animal Husbandry event at Gillies Community Centre on May 13th.

The market study will provide a comprehensive picture of the local food economy in Thunder Bay and the surrounding area.

As part of Lakehead University's 2017 Research and Innovation week, this year's Food Forum will feature a keynote lecture from a very special guest, Dr. Harriet Friedmann, along with a Graduate Student Panel on Sustainability.
