The TBDHU has prepared an "Adventures in Cooking with Kids" manual to help leaders work with children to teach basic cooking skills and reinforce healthy eating habits. This guide is ideal for after-school programs.
The community kitchen at Our Kids Count offers a clean and secure space for community members to learn food skills, prepare healthy meals, and develop new friendships. Specialized kitchen workshops are offered regularly while other kitchen programs include, men's kitchens, kids in community kitchens, teens kitchen, special needs kitchens, and more.
