Governance

The Thunder Bay and Area Food Strategy is directed by the Food Strategy Council and the Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee oversees the implementation of the Food Strategy. Through monthly meetings, this committee works to move the strategy forward by discussing possible projects and ways to overcome obstacles, as well as by identifying funding and partnership opportunities. The Executive Committee also provides overall direction and guidance to the Food Strategy Coordinator, and ensures that decisions of the Food Strategy Council are incorporated into planning.
